In this video, I review the M-Audio M-Track Duo, and explain some of the features and uses of this new USB audio interface. It is compatible with Windows and Apple Mac. I've tested it myself on Windows, using Ableton Live 10. The M-Track Duo is class-compliant on PC which means it works pretty much out of the box. It is very affordable and compact, and easy to use. It has two independent TRS/XLR inputs with M-Audio Crystal Pre-amps. I've bought and tried a few USB audio interfaces recently, and M-Track Duo is a lot more affordable, and clearer sounding, for some on a tight budget who wanting to make their recordings and podcasts sound more professional.

Wow but audio wants a boost the video sound I mean

I also recently bought this unit BUT there's a problem. When you plug in your guitar, a high frequency squeal is very audible in Amplitube 5 and Cubase. Since I learned this occurs because the USB cable dual functions as an audio and power interface, there'll be a pesky squeal because of ground loop issues. I recently invested in a $50 USB filter and will update this post once I try it out.

I am not technic at all but when the signal is clipping shouldn't it show red? It is very difficult to record oneself and to be keeping an eye whether the voice is clipping. I suppose one has to listen afterwards and turn the signal down on the Input knob? I tried to find a user manual but only found one for the Single, not the Duo, which is what I have.

I have issues using the M-Track Duo for audio coming from the computer(iMac), like this Youtube video. The audio cuts out. Am I missing a setting?

when i turn the phantom power on and restart my computer the monitor screen dont comes up but when i turn off the phantom power it restart it damage my motherboard or any other anyone have any idea... will it be safe to used with laptop

I’m in the hunt for a cheap interface, but I don’t know how reliable are the beringhers on the long run, I mean I don’t want to spend $50 just for them to break shortly after, what would to recommend? Or should I just spend $100 on a audiobox just to he safe? Thanks in advance
