Irvine man charged with assaulting American Airlines flight attendant, causing plane to be diverted

An Irvine man has been charged with assault after allegedly attacking a flight attendant mid-air last week, causing the plane to be diverted to Denver, officials announced Monday. This segment aired on the KTLA 5 News at 12 on Nov. 1, 2021.
