I love to listen to Jim Lovel. At his age of 92 he has still this sharp spirit. I read all books related to space flight, but his book was one of my favorite.
2 weeks ago I visited the Smithonian Museum in DC and it is like to travel back in time. What these guys achived in the 60th was special. I will always keep that Apollo mission on my mind.

Thank you so much for bringing this national treasure back to center stage! PS, Mr. Lovell, I just couldn't believe you sold your house at LBJ, it was our favorite pointing out your place by the stained glass. Always admired from afar, Sean

Perhaps there are no names on the patch because of the last minute crew change.

The crew of bees on the apollo 13 were there to try and discover honey/pollen on the lunar surface, instead, during the flight their honey machine and pollen filter broke. After this they had to return to the hive. Barry (buzz) benson, buzz beedrin, and beenard pollenton were welcomed back with great joy.
