The I2C bus specifications provide for 7-bit and 10-bit device addresses. 7-bit and 10-bit addressed devices may be used together on the same system if a few rules are followed. This video provides a basic demonstration of the 10-bit addressing scheme. The video discusses how problems may occur if the reserved addresses in 7-bit devices is not observed leading to two slaves (a 7 bit and a 10 bit) both thinking they are the target device.

Hi, thanks for all your educational work and effort. What is the software that you have used to capture a data stream? Is there some kind of Wireshark for binary and serial transmission?
Thanks in advance and wish you all the best ❤
