I diagnosed myself and had all those symptoms so I have been on a gluten free diet for about 3 yrs. I have been better ever since. All my symptoms are gone.

I am gluten and lactose intolerant. Before I found out, I was having acid reflux, severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, AND constipation. Thank goodness my family, friends, and I realized it so that I could change my diet and feel/be much better! 🙏🏽💕

From what i understand gluten intolerance is NOT the same as celiac diesease. Because gluten intolerance will not show up in a blood test like celiacs disease yet you suffer the same effects.

I have had all these symptoms off and on throughout my life, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos thyroidits, and I asked my doctor about gluten sensitivity. Different doctors have scoffed at this notion and told me I could try it, but dont expect much change. I have been gluten free for 2 years now, and I am so much better! I don't know why some doctors refuse to connect diet modification with treatment of many autoimmune disorders. After all, most symptoms are caused by chronic inflammation, if one can eliminate the irritant, symptoms improve!

After eliminating all gluten my dental hygienist said there was a significant decrease in plaque. She was astounded; as was I. I have gum disease but after 9 months of no gluten my “numbers” have decreased. This video goes right along with what I’ve experienced.

I had migraines all my life. My mom would not let me eat McDonald's as a kid cause I would get violently ill and get headaches. I had irregular periods and a bunch other "feminine" problems and doctors thought I would have trouble having kids. I was severely depressed and anxious all 4 years of college, and ate subways sandwiches everyday. I always felt dizzy and unfocused after eating my meals. I have a severe iron deficiency as well. One of my friends who is gluten free told me I was probably gluten sensitive or intolerant. I stopped eating gluten a year ago. All my symptoms, with the exception of the iron deficiency went away almost instantly!!!! I have never felt better!!! Also, Gluten free bread when made right is AMAZING!!!

Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder... intolerance is so different than celiac, please make this distinction in the future.

Such an important video. You are LITERALLY what you eat. Found out recently that I am gluten intolerant and, bringing to easy terms, eating a shitload of gluten my whole life created a "scar" in my stomatch, making me sensitive to acidic foods and hard to absorb nutrients. I completely changed my diet since then, eating only vegetables, fruits and sometimes fish (with specific exceptions). In less than a month I feel results: good skin, better mood, more energy, less problems while in the toilet.
Be aware of what you eat people! :)

Yup just about every one hit the mark. I went undiagnosed from doctors for years. Eventually hopping from doctor to doctor for a few years because they ended up coming to the conclusion that it was all in my head. I suffered from weight loss, headaches, migraines, anemia, anxiety (which was never an issue before), brittle nails, vomiting, constant nausea and stomach pain and even a face rash that I thought was acne for the longest time. It was frustrating to be passed over for a long time, until a doctor took me seriously and diagnosed me in less than a week. It was a miracle. I quickly started the diet change, and within a few weeks my fave rash was disappearing, my stomach pains were subsiding and I started feeling food for the first time in years!!! I didn’t feel crazy anymore and finally had an answer. Going gluten free is hard and you’ll make mistakes but after almost 2 years GF I’m thankful for my diagnosis and feeling like myself again.

I self diagnosed myself as sensitive to gluten. I have something other than what they mention. It’s helped my fibromyalgia pain a lot by avoiding gluten. I also get small sores on my legs or arms if I eat gluten so glad I found out by trial & error.

I stopped eating gluten because doctor recommended it to help with my diverticulosis. I've noticed that when I eat gluten-free pasta or bread, I don't need to eat them as much as "normal" products and they keep my hunger away much longer. My bowel has felt better after I stopped eating gluten, but the most unbelievable result is that my back pain is gone, the pain that I've had for over 25 years!! My back must have been inflammated all this time!
