Because when I do a mastering in Ozone 8 I get a RMS of -6 or -7 and in your Span you mark an RMS of -13 or -14?

I have a problem with my current set up and I need help. My problem is my music seems to distort quite bad on speakers and through headphones, but no one elses music seems to do this... How can I stop this from happening? like Do I need a better interface, or a better microphone, or both, or do I need to learn how to mix and master my tracks... What is my problem? please help.

modern bigroom isn't minimal at all it's full of percs drums ect.. and layering 8, 9 leadsisn't really easy

Too much midrange on some of those mixes. Remember the “smile” curve!

There's at least 3 common ways to take those vocals 'back' in the mix without straight up lowering the volume. I imagine discussing those three quick principles very quickly would be more beneficial to the audience.

Hi Jon. Thanks for another vlog (how many did You made by now? I've lost count ;)). Working on a new track, just got stuck for a moment because don't know how to finish it and still need to polish it a little (or propably a lot). Wish I've had more patience, haha.

the last track she could eq out the frequencies in the synths that the vocals occupy but if that thins out the impact of the synths then try sidechaining vocals over the synths lots of plugins do it but lookup trackspacer . Also the track from Iveenie try OTT or more saturation plug ins like fabfilter Saturn great presets included as starting points or could even do the trick. or if you want a massive sound use 2 instances of the synth you're using playing at the same time on different channels and try inverting and phase shifting left and right one from the other.. pan and widen one and do the opposite for the other etc.. just my 2 cents worth cheers!
