Pro tip, feed stock in at an angle so it cuts left to right or right to left. I’ve done about 2000 board feet so far on original 3 blades since Oct 2022. Still cuts like a dream. Noisiest thing in the sho hands down though!

Great way to damage a $500 piece of equipment. Trying to edge joint a board on a planer (particularly this planer) can damage the table it rides on because of the high pressure put on a small area. NEVER DO THIS

Your not supposed to run boards through it that way I’ve seen people mess up their planets doing that by denying the plate. Joiners are for that purpose

Don’t put money out for this piece of junk. DeWalts customer service is very poor. Mine hade 15 minutes total of light duty and it popped the breaker each time I used it. The belt melted off planing a 4 inch wide piece of pine. Dewalt did nothing.
