Wayne, dude!!! You nailed it! "Cancel this dashboard...." That's the big secret. If you want your interface to work as an input device, you have to select it first as your OUTPUT device. You're the ONLY one to make that clear. Been struggling for 2 weeks with my Protools. These guys are nuts, how can they be so unintuitive when it comes to asigning an input device?? Had no trouble with Reaper or Cubase, but I wanted to start using Protools. Stereo Input, my ass. I use an Alesis Multimix 16 USB2.0 But I managed to make it work following your simple but direct steps. Made my day. Thanx friend, you're a life saver.

So as you advised in this video "you wanna down load any software from the interface website" I did and now I am up and running. MY LETS HA HA!

What do I do if none of the options under the input and output tabs at 4:24 aren't showing? It just says "In 1 (Mono)" and "Out 1-2 Stereo --> 1-2"
