FILM DESCRIPTION:
The members of the odd Addams Family are up to more macabre antics in this sequel. This time around, Gomez Addams (Raul Julia) and his wife, Morticia (Anjelica Huston), are celebrating the arrival of a baby boy. But siblings Wednesday (Christina Ricci) and Pugsley (Jimmy Workman) are none too happy about the new addition, and try their best to eliminate the infant. When nanny Debbie Jelinsky (Joan Cusack) appears to keep the kids in line, her presence leads to an unexpected treacherous twist.

I love how Margret was just welcomed into the family with open arms and hearts as she is! No one says a darn thing about her pink aesthetic because they simply don’t care!

I also love the fact that they even bothered to bring Cousin Itt & Margret back, it’s a great sense of continuity plus we get to see their adorable baby What!

I love that the stroller is a coffin. I also find it interesting that despite the whole pink thing that Margaret is welcomed. For such a macabre family, they still care about each other which is the charm of the Addams family.

See, this is what makes Debbie kinda interesting as an antagonist because it's just so ironic. She's designed to look like the exact antithesis of what the Addams are and obviously sees herself as this super evil villainess... but in in all honestly, if she was just upfront and honest about her intentions, she would have fit right in. Like...even if she admitted to being a murderer, they'd probably just shrug and be like "Well, everyone needs a hobby."

Love how everybody's talking about Margaret and/or baby What, the highlight of this clip is the stripper in the cake that got baked on accident. Gomez's face when he realizes that is priceless 😂🤣

God the more I watch these clips, the more I think that the Addamses are more of a tribe than an actual family name. Like a cult (I mean this in the nicest possible way for them) of adopted outcasts, misfits, and their descendants. Like either everyone seems to have the last name Addams, they're called cousin, and nobody knows who Granny is related to. I like to think it's more like a tribe/cult rather than their family tree looking like a Christmas Wreath. It seems to have a nicer meaning, that they don't even need to be blood-related or married to be considered part of this friendly and slightly eccentric family. Debbie even tried to kill them and they built her a memorial on the family burial grounds; they never hated her, they even supported her when she was monologing.
