This is also partially MPD's fault. This city is lawless and there is no police enforcement except in downtown, midtown, and East Memphis near Germantown. The rest of the city suffers with no police enforcement of anything. This man died because some idiot ran a red light. I see numerous people do that everyday because there are no traffic enforcement cops. I can do the whole 240 loop many days and not see one cop or state trooper on the freeway. MPD does not patrol neighborhoods anymore or do any traffic enforcement. Because of your lack enforcement in Black Memphis which is majority of the neighborhoods in Memphis this man is dead. Because people feel free to run red lights, do donuts at intersections and do 100mph on surface Streets.
