One of my fathers closest friends who is black. I have known him since I was very little. I have never ever seen him not be anything but loving towards his children. The pictures are beautiful

I’m in a mixed and blended family. My husband is black and Native American, he has two children from before we met, their mother is black, and I have two children with my ex who is white. Our kids gender and ages are in perfect alignment, like the Brady bunch lol... they are legitimately each others best friends and it is beautiful to see. We recently had a son together as well, he is just a few months old. My husband’s two older kids live long distance from us currently, their mother tries to limit his relationship with them, but nonetheless we drive 8 hours collectively every weekend to pick them up, bring them home with us, and drop them back off. No matter how hard it was he never turned his back on his children so I knew he was an active and loving father when I met him, but seeing him with our son has shown me he is the absolute best. He’s stepped up so much as a step dad too and I’m so proud of him. He is the biggest role model to all 5 of our children. My husband’s dad was absent in his life and despite ending the cycle he still faces such negative stereotypes as a father himself. I know he has nothing to prove to anyone but himself, but it hurts that someone would falsely stereotype him as a parent without knowing how incredible he truly is.

Good initiative, but sorry to me this is BS*t.. everyone is entitled to their perception, my perception is that you're trying to prove that black people are human and have a life just like any other human being. We as black people have nothing to prove to any body! Let these guys be alone with their families. If you're doing this out of passion, find. but please don't f.kg mention any sort of stereotype challenge. This is degrading for black people.
