It's true, I'm from Iraq and we hold hands. We also give kisses on the cheeks and hugs when we greet each other. It's an expression of brotherly love. It's culture. Everyone does it, regardless of their religion

I am Moroccan and what hamaza said is very true . When we hold hands it's just how we show love and compassion to each other . There is nothing gay about it .

I lose respect for old people who had plenty of time to be mature and wise but they turn out to be useless

In Morocco we hold hands especially when we’re happy to see someone or when it’s been a long time no see. Men of older generations would just hold hands and have a conversation it’s a sign of a strong brotherly bond

In Pakistan we don't hold hands but we walk together by putting arms on each other shoulders or rubbing shoulders, every country has different way to show brotherly love ❤

I am Afghani and this is true. Men will hold hands and be more touchy-feely without an ounce of sexual thoughts. Because not only is sodomy seen as a sin and therefore disgusting, but also because holding hands isn’t seen as gay. It’s like kissing your pet animal doesn’t make you a zoophilist.

Ya Allah, do not let me reach old age before replacing my flaws & shortcomings with goodness. You are the only one we rely on and make it easy for us...

My father has traveled the world and told me about this... He tells me we should aim to be like Muslim men, and I agree... Strong faith and morals. Beautiful culture as well. Sending love from New Zealand.

It is normal in Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and Arab countries for good friends to hold hands. It is not in my culture, but I see the beauty in it.

When we are children, it is normal for us to hold hands with our best friends, be it different or same gender. It is natural. That is pure friendship untainted by perverted thought. For a culture that still maintains such purity in friendship, it is really beautiful.

I’m Palestinian you kiss elders on the hands, friends on the cheeks, and hug them. People wonder why the western countries are so divided it’s because they can’t even agree on how to greet eachother. I understand personal space and respect that but living in America my whole life I even feel distant from my friends

In Saudi Arabia we can kiss each other's noses (if we are from the same clan) as a way of greeting between us, It's normal thing and we don't look at it in an obnoxious sexual way, it's also common among the oldmen than youngs.
