Oh I love the pillowy crispness of the Taco Bell Chalupa. It's definitely something I always get when I pick up and eat in the car. First thing I eat so it doesn't get all cold and soggy. I was totally thinking that you were going to say it was like between the Gordita and Chalupa, I was thinking that when you pulled them out of the bag. A deep fry would for sure be the way to go, but I am sure they are great that way too. Hope you are having a great weekend. Griddle on Oompa Loompas, lol.
