George Lucas' Original 12 Star Wars Movie Plans

We've already had 12 movies if you count the Clone Wars Movie, Solo and Rogue One, but did you know George Lucas had planned 12 movies during the Original Trilogy's filming, to the point of even asking if some of the stars, luke Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) would want to return for episode 9 and the Sequels?

George should publicly release the script of the three sequels and then its gonna be war to recognize it as an unofficial canon between the fan bases.

MAD magazine put out a 12 movie treatment right after Empire Strikes Back came out. All the movies were out of order but still ended with the 12th chronologically as the last released. I think I like it better than what we got.

Then again, it would’ve given a potential burn out which is why it was cut down to 6, and the way I see it, it would take 3 years to have the movies released at any point in time.

George had three Trilogies and three standalone films it would’ve taken to 1977 to 2010 for 33 years it would’ve taken him this long to to finish the series this is how it would’ve went episodes VI, VII, VIII would have been in the
the original trilogy (1977-1983) the sequel trilogy episodes IX, X, XI (1986-1992) episode I a standalone film and prelude which would’ve been released in (1995) episodes II, III, IV known as the prequel trilogy and a clone wars trilogy (1998-2004) episode V another standalone film it would’ve been an epilogue intermediate film which would’ve been released in (2007) and episode XII The third and final standalone film and a conclusion to the Skywalker saga it would’ve been released in (2010)

He should have done them instead of the o idk act he then sold them and got mad they didn’t listen to him….George is a master story teller and world builder but he can not direct he should have written the script and hired someone to direct all the stress would have been alleviated from his life he has final say ect..

Interesting, really interesting to ponder 🤔 over what really could have been if not only Lucas's Original 12-Episode Saga had been made but also if Jodorowsky's Dune had also been made (although I do feel Lynch's Dune is an underrated masterpiece 😇), alongside Star Trek Phase 2 (I believe Trek would have still made it to the big screen soon enough 🎥😎), and Glen A Larson's Original TV-movie Battlestar Galactica miniseries plan (+ syndicated series following afterwards), as well as (Classic) Doctor Who not being cancelled (and continued onwards after 1989)! If only! [Sigh] 🤷‍♂️🤔🙄😒
