Sentinel HS35 Dehumidifier Replace the Fan Motor

This video shows how to replace the fan motor for Sentinel HS35.

Step 1. Remove the 8 screws on the drain side panel to open the panel.

Step 2. Remove the 8 screws on the control panel to open it, then unplug the control panel wiring.

Step 3. Remove the 4 screws of the top cover panel to remove the cover. Remove the 2 screws on the air outlet plate to remove the air outlet plate.

Step 4. Remove the four screws securing the fan bracket at the top and bottom.

Step 5. Remove the fan ground wire, unplug the two wires at the fan capacitor, and unplug the set of wires at the motherboard to remove the fan.

Step 6. Replace the fan with a new one, passing all the fan's wiring through the hole. Plug the ground wire, fan capacitor wires, and motherboard wires.

Step 7. Install the fan fixing bracket, install the air outlet panel, then the top cover, and finally the two side covers.
