19 INCH, 4 POUND CRAPPIE!!!

This video encompasses about 3 hours of fishing! only 4 or 5 fish were caught, but one of them was the CRAPPIE OF A LIFETIME!

I remember 54 years ago fishing with my mom and dad on lake Sam Rayburn in east Texas. I remember it so well because we listened to Neil Armstrong and Buzz walk on the moon on the radio. I also remember tieing to a treetop in deep water and catching 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 lb crappie until my daddy said no more. Probably around 50 though. One of the best times in my life. I was 15.

The largest Crappie I ever caught was on my eleventh birthday in 1968 and it weighed in at a whopping three pounds and eleven ounces. I caught three of them over three pounds that day and all were caught on live minnows. I wish there was a way to show the photo here in this comment section. Keep sharing the videos!

Caught a 16 3/4 inch Crappie on Lake Fork back in the 80s on 2# mono . Epic battle to get him in the net . I thought, this is the biggest Crappie I'm ever gonna catch, gotta get him mounted ! Hit the local taxidermist next morning, told him how I wanted it mounted, then he told me how much it was gonna cost . Best Crappie I ever ate !! I practice 100% catch and release nowadays, but still love my ultra lite . Awesome video, awesome Crappie, AWESOME channel 😎👍👍

Dang, what a trophy! I caught a 3lb 6oz black crappie A few years back fishing for bass on a three and a half inch live bluegill. It was one of my most memorable catches ever. I definitely will be getting some of your lures. Super cool catch! 💪👊

Monster Crappie! My brother and I got two real big ones this past winter, weighed, measured all on film for our channel too! My biggest way 17" 3.4lbs and his was a whopping 18" 3.81lbs

What a massive fish! Congrats! Id be happy even if that was my only fish of the day. I catch alot of black crappie in Bull Shoals lake Arkansas, many 16 inches iver the years, but 19, thats insane!
