Wish I had one of those, I went Jegs and bought a new center section and base plate.I figured the price would be about the same for the tool of course I would have had the tool for next time but this was back when pc’s were just getting rolling and you depended on magazine articles but thanks.I’d like to see more on 4150/4160 3310 overhaul and power secrets

Here's a question for you. Why do the straight leg boosters have the thin bar that goes across the inside of the booster? what would the result be if someone cut that out of the straight leg? always wondered what would happen. Interesting since the down legs do not have it either.

Some videos out there say that downleg boosters kick out huge drops or streams and don’t atomize the fuel as well as an annular booster. What are your experiences? They also say heat risers in the intake manifold help atomize fuel, but if you have those blocked or run an RPM Airgap intake that it is better to run annular boosters for best atomization. Thanks for the great videos....!

I have a vacuum secondary Holley on my sb 350 and it doesn't have a vent tube that goes in the front bowl should I get one for it or is it fine to run without? Thanks for the videos they have been a real help

I've been watching some of your videos and and learning a lot. Thanks! The other day I saw fuel dribbling from one of my primary boosters when RPM increased to approximately 2k RPM idling in the driveway. Any idea what is causing this?

Good video on the boosters. I bought one of them Brawler carbs, a 950, but when I got it, one of the primary boosters were bent downward. No packaging issue, could that be faulty installation? Can I try to pry it upwards a bit, to get it level with the others?

Hey brother, I have a holley classic hp 830 downleg booster carb, they also make a annular main body. Which one is better for higher intake velocity speed ?
Also I was hoping to figure out if I was able to massage the bore a tad & put a 1.75 throttle plate on would that essentially be a 1000 cfm. I believe the measurments end up the same. Let me know if you have a chance. Thank you sir

Hey man i had a question (im new to this BTW) ; I had just bought a car with a twin air ram carburetor set up and out of the two carburetors one of them is missing two leg boosters from inside, the other being fine. It seemed like they were melting one was completely burned off and the other was kinda damaged. Would this effect drivability? I wouldn't be pushing it hard but more-so as a temporary daily. Is that reasonable within the spectrum?
