You gotta stay in it a little bit and ease off the power smoothly, open diffs are unpredictable but the chassis of the car is predictable you want to be aggressively smooth…………. but would never drift out on a public road with Parked cars that’s the first thing

That's got nothing to do with an open diff. His massive overcorrection is what caused that. Had he had an LSD, it probably would've been 10x worse...

open diffs are really annoying in this sector, it is complete, y unpredictable, one tyre will lose traction, you do not know which one, it will spin to the moon, if you try to correct it, the other tyre will be unloaded, it will itself lose traction and it will start spinning, and the worst part is that the spinning tyre will still generate enough force to turn you,
lost traction a few times on slippery roads, barely managed to recover, foot off gas pedal, no brakes (you lock up a wheel, and you go straight for a tree or pole), and try to correct it, by also try not to over correct it, and no, it will not swing sideways like a drift car, no need to be a genius to guess it, just dont try to

I have a 2004 g35 that I’m manual swapping right now and I’m wondering if it’s worth to swap the differential for a stock manual one since I know the gears are longer on the automatic one, not too sure how big of a a difference it will do regarding the power and torque but I wanted to see if it was worth it or not
