I've seen a ton of customers hit the sinks water lines putting in those 3 part filters from Amazon lol

Those pipes should have a piece of metal placed in front of them to stop nails or the cutting of drywall.

Id just cut the pipe where the screw hole was, and use a slip coupling😊

You just reduced his 1 inch pipe to 3/4 good job.

Hey Hotshot, you could’ve fix that leak with one coupling and cutting the pipe right on the screw hole. You just wasted time & material

“Thanks to the filter not being installed properly” 🤔 “Thanks to the homeowner being a dumbass who didn’t use a stud finder and didn’t ease the screw in so he could stop if he missed the stud.”

YOU are the one to blame when YOU run a screw into YOUR own pipe when YOU are fixing something that the previous owner didn’t do right.

Yes this could have all been prevented if the previous owner would have installed it correctly. It could have also been prevented if the previous owners never put the filter in after the house was built. It could have also been prevented by buying a different house. It could have also been prevented if any one of a million things did not align with the CURRENT OWNER RUNNING A SCREW INTO THE PIPE!!!

Quit passing blame. People should be accountable for their own actions. “If you would have then I wouldn’t have is not right. I have caught myself doing this, and it isn’t right. OWN YOUR SHIT
