I love to take songs out of their original context. I wanted this song to capture my empathy for immigrants and refuges and their American Dream and my shame and resentment that my country is often the reason they must run in the first place and can ruin that dream so easily at the same time. But our countries both represent something deeper than the selfish decisions of evil people. Barrett Argo and i discussed this and searched for images to tell that story and she wove the visuals together to help me tell that story.

Fantastic! I was wondering how this song sounds when normal people sing it and stumbled upon this professional performance. I grew up in Sweden with Tommy Körberg's original version but I have to say your performance is great as well!
