Been & Being - Advanced English Grammar

"Been" and "Being" are both conjugations of the verb "to be".

When you use "been" and "being" depends on the time reference and the connection between events.

"Been" is the past participle of the verb "to be". It's used with the Present Perfect and Past Perfect verb tenses.

"Being" is the present participle of the verb "to be". It's used with the Present Continuous, Past Continuous and also as a gerund verb.
