FIX XAMPP Error: MySQL Shutdown Unexpectedly - Blocked Port [2024]

In this video, we will fix the common XAMPP error: MySQL shutdown unexpectedly. This error can occur due to various reasons. One of the most common one is the default port used by MySQL: 3306 being already in use.
We will have to either end the current process that is using the port 3306, or change the port that xampp MySQL uses.

Method 1:
1. Delete the files created by XAMPP in the data directory
2. Copy files from the backup folder to data directory
3. Start MySQL in XAMPP

Method 2:
1. Open config file
2. Change port to 3306
3. Start MySQL
