Im not gonna lie, CS2 should have released WITH a NEW operation. Like I don’t really get why they would release a new knife when most people who play casually can’t afford it. But new guns would also be nice.

The AS VAL wouldn't really fit into the game as the CT's already have a suppressed AR, and the T's ARs always do more damage so adding a suppressor would be kinda op. I feel like a better thing would be to replace the T auto sniper with the VSS Vintorez

I feel like they're saving a lot of content for a large update. I think Arms Race and the Kilowatt case were added mainly to manage people's expectations.

Yeah, we need a swap for the AK like the CT has for both M4s, a suppressed AS Val for 2700/2900 that has the damage performance of the m4a1-s but with 30 bullets and a slightly higher rpm, so teams will have a choice between better accuracy/running accuracy overall and suppressors vs one-shot headshot. And it makes sense because they're both russian!

I've been asking for a single semi-auto or lever-action rifle to be added for years. In my mind the best spot would be as a budget rifle alternative to the FAMAS and Galil. Definitely not a one shot headshot, but with super low spread and quick recoil recovery.

I think they should add more frames and less lag then they can work on the other things

For new weapons, I think battle rifle versions of the auto snipers (SCAR-17 and G3A3 for CT and T side respectively) would be cool, even if they’d basically be the AK on steroids. Anyway I think it would be really funny if the UMP-45 got reverted to its “$1200 rifle” state it used to be in.
