This Thursday, the Rwanda Airports Company, conducting an Aerodrome Simulation Emergency Exercise drill at the Kigali International Airport.
The exercise comes at a time Rwanda anticipates high traffic at the airport during CHOGM 22 this month.
According to airports managers and stakeholders, the exercise, simulating a fictitious aviation related incident in the event of a plane crash, gave confidence that authorities can properly handle the situation in case of an accident.
