Election Results Uttar Pradesh: 'Ramayan' star Arun Govil, contesting from Uttar Pradesh's Meerut is trailing closely behind Samajwadi candidate Sunita Verma. At 1:10 PM, Mr Govil had 298389 votes while Ms Verma was leading with 317625 votes.

A shock indeed. UP was the model for BJP and BJP had a good certainly not an unpopular CM in Yogi Adityanath. And the opposition seemed to have gained momentum late, only after round 3 but they have beaten BJP.
Definitely a set back for P Modi as well as CM Yogi Adityanath.
