Despite this, the NDA appears poised to retain power, already crossing the majority mark. Key leaders showing strong performances include Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad and Rajiv Chandrasekhar in Thiruvananthapuram, who is leading over Congress’s Shashi Tharoor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi leads in Varanasi, while Akhilesh Yadav is ahead in Kannauj. The NDA is also performing well in Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal.
