Problem is, most PSP games have better versions on PS2, and you can emulate both systems in any semi-decent phone nowadays.

Honestly there weren't many games that caught my attention because most of the Playstation library doesn't offer an experience I can treasure and enjoy for years. The games might not be shovelware but they are a one and done kind of deal because they don't really offer any kind of replay value.

Silent Hill Origins, Digimon World Re:Digitize (before the better version for the 3DS came out), Work Time Fun and The Sims are probably all the PsP games I liked.

The rest were old PS1 games like Medarot R, the original Silent Hill, Digimon World 1 & 2 and that's about it.

I sold the silent hill movie for 5 dollars a few years ago now I see the price is like 40$ on eBay. PSP is becoming to expensive.

Like 15 years ago with I was a kid and we would go to Walmart I would B-line for the video game section and just spend most of the time playing whatever game as available on the PSP they have had on display. Great memories, but I don’t have many concrete memories of the specific games I would play.

Honestly the PS vita was so ahead of its time. Honestly if they came out with a true PS portable that didn’t require internet. It would be unstoppable

The PSP has always been underrated. Solid construction and an excellent library! Does it's library have the same volume as it's competitor the DS? No, not even close. But the PSP doesn't have a metric ass-ton of shovelware to wade through leaving the smaller library with a much higher concentration of bangers. The prices on the majority of said bangers are also very agreeable!
