Really Quick Product Review: Audi/VW MQB Chassis SACHS Performance Coilover Kit

Welcome to really quick product reviews, a new series where members of the FCP Euro staff quickly review various parts and kits in our catalog. This week, our Director of Motorsports and driver of the #72 Volkswagen GTI TCR is unboxing and explaining our SACHS Performance Coilover kit for the Audi/Volkswagen MQB chassis.

"You know when a manual is in German first, you're getting good shit," explained Nate Vincent, during the filming of this episode. What Vincent is referring to is the provided instruction manual for the SACHS Performance Coil Over Kit for an MK7 Golf/Audi MQB chassis, because German engineering is awesome. Here's why:

"This kit is engineered better than the parts that come off your car," explains Vincent. One look at the quality of the welds, and the robust nature of the product itself, will prove that theory.

SACHS Performance coilover suspensions utilize high-quality monotube gas shock absorbers filled with heavy-duty oil. This particular kit features 30-50mm of ride height adjustment with 10-way damping adjustment for compression and rebound, perfect for track days or just managing rough roads during daily driving.

In addition, the front suspension struts are designed "upside-down", to absorb extreme lateral forces without bending or breaking. We use SACHS performance shocks and struts on our race cars, too.

For an Audi S3 8P, with the reference point the original (comfort)stock shocks .On this adjustable coilover kit, the shock on soft option, how soft is?Same?harder, from the original?
For example the pss10 the softer option is not as original "comfort", is a bilstein B6(B8)
There are any dyno graph?

Thanks.

Why can't FCP get the ZF/Sachs coilover kits for BMW E90's? I'm sure they'd sell! I want them for my car but having a hard time finding a decent price.

I've been in the market for something to replace my lowering springs. I was looking into BC Racing. But these looks fantastic, pending price point.
