How to Play Any Video File Format on Android

Please help. I've tried VLC, mx player, etc and nothing works. I recorded a video on my HTC One Android phone, the clip is 11 mins long and it worked fine when I initially played it back in its original location in the phone gallery. I then moved it to a different folder and it took ages to move, which never normally happens. When I open it now it plays but stops approximately half way through saying "sorry this video cannot be played!". I noticed that it happens at a point where the resolution sharpens and the camera focuses better, as the first half of the video is blurry due to the camera not focusing properly. Any suggestions at all please 👍

Unlike other players, VLC comes with built in codecs, so most all video/audio formats work. You don't have to install codecs

I have downloaded audio files from YouTube and merged them with Audio Joiner and converted them with mp3 Toolbox and downloaded them onto my S8 but I can't find them anywhere, and I can't even post them to YouTube or Facebook directly from Toolbox even though the options are there!

This for whatever reason doesn't work for me, I have some stuff on an SD card attached to my phone that I downloaded off my laptop, is it because I have a OnePlus? Because some wierd things happen with OnePlus'

How do you actually download the video? I can get to the point where I click Video and paste a url there and it will play, but I cannot figure out how to KEEP a video in the video location on the VLC player. It just plays it. Any advice?

it can play mov but cannot convert. i do editing on my samsung tablet. before i can edit it should be converted to mp4. any new suggestion? thanks
