Years ago my wife, and I and our six month old German shepherd took a walk up a deserted beach on the east coast of NZ. Unbeknown to us there were a few sheep grazing on the side of this steep grassed slope. The dog took off up that hill and expertly herded three of those sheep back down to sea level onto a reef, at low tide of course and lay on the sand waiting for us to arrive. She had never seen a sheep before but looked very pleased with herself. Amazing dogs.

I hate seeing people grab their paws and pushing them to pick things up as if they are hands. It's an unnatural motion for them. So what? The dog spilled some soil! Big deal. Doing that shows them NOTHING. Teach him something he can understand!
