Whenever I’m in Europe, I always imagine just how bodies once lay where I’m standing, at some point. Not just ww2 but medieval times as well. Its truly haunting

I’m a Vet, I had the privilege of speaking with another Vet who was there on D-Day….he served in the Morgue Battalion, as he stated “I was on the clean up crew”! As long as my mind functions I will never forget what he shared with me, and the details he could recount!

A completely different world back then and so many lives lost so that we may all have what we have today and so much of it has been taken and is taken for granted and for the lives that were spent I say thank you for your service.

Excellent job of finding the location and standing in the proper spot to get everything to line up precisely. Amazing.

Fabulous presentation. The "before" photos fit precisely - truly a time machine ! Love how the cars are rolling and come out the other side of the photo. Please keep these videos going so we dont lose the history.
PS - the music is PERFECT !

I remember being a massive WW2 geek when I was younger, and over the summer, my 2nd Grade teacher sent me a postcard from Normandy, telling me how amazing it was. Definitely on my bucketlist now.

I got the chills from this. My grandpa served in the United States Army and was over there. After hearing all his stories, it brings back a flood of memories. Awesome picture for sure.

My grandfather was there! Told stories quietly to myself and my brother, you see it was very hard for him to talk about that day and the survivors guilt he carried was tremendous but he went on to start and raise a mind boggling family 😂. I wish he were still here to see this. Thank you for this video. Brings back fond memories of “ole sarge!” Rest in peace sir. That’s an order! 🫡❤
