Welcome to Aunt Debbie's Boutique
Each video with highlight a simple project, with me showing you step by step how to cut it out and construct it. Simple tchniques that don't cause frustration.

All you need is a sewing machine you can operate, a pair of fabric scissors, sewing pins, a seam ripper, and an iron. A cutting mat, rulers and rotary cutters are an added bonus. We will address fabric, thread and needles in each video.

Patterns are child friendly but children always should be supervised when sewing.

I am a single mom in W. Texas with a 30 yr old daughter who has had a passion for sewing since I was 10 years old. I also have numerous nieces and nephews and have sewn for them since they were born and that is where my brand of Aunt Debbie's Boutique comes from. I have spent most of my adult life teaching sewing classes to kids and adults. This channel is dedicated to passing these patterns and skills to a larger audience in a much more user friendly format. You can watch these videos at your convience rather than have to choose between going to your sewing class or your kids soccer game.

Let's get to sewing!

When I was making Christmas stockings, I cheated, bought a $2 item that was simple felt kind from a dollar type store. Traced out the shape and added some seam allowances. Even a regular sock made bigger could help. I also found one from my children and that was bigger. Same thing, used poster card as a template shape. It can be a great scrap buster as well as an excellent creative outlet for gifts and for sale. I do enjoy your videos.
