I’m a mom, family of four. We’ve made changes to our grocery shopping because of how expensive food has gotten. It’s extremely hard to keep it below 300 dollars a week. If we had more kids I don’t know how we would do it. I took a job closer to home to save money on gas. I started working more which means spending on childcare. It’s 1000 bucks a month. I make under 80k a year. I feel poor. I’m worried about paying for college for my oldest daughter because I honestly don’t know how we’re going to pay aside from loans unless she gets a scholarship. These elites don’t understand that. They all are from rich families and attended Ivy League schools. I don’t know about that world. I don’t like being told I’m wrong about my day to day experience. It’s insulting.
