Welcome back to Next-Gen Console Watch, our show following all the news and rumors on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series S. I’m Seth Macy, and this week I’m joined by Ryan McCaffrey, host of IGN’s Xbox podcast, Podcast Unlocked, and Jonathon Dornbush, host of IGN's PlayStation podcast, Podcast Beyond.

This week we indulge in the console race a bit, making a case for PlayStation, Nintendo, or Xbox “winning” 2022. We’ll look at some of the biggest titles from the big three, such as Horizon Forbidden West, Starfield, and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2! We’ll also take a look at poll results. PlayStation has a great start with Horizon Forbidden West, it's gonna be amazing for sure. The only thing that makes me want an Xbox is to be able to play Starfield

Starfield is easily my biggest game of the year. In terms of 1P exclusives, I'm also really looking forward to Redfall because Arkane are the best and Horizon FW
