Please keep making more videos. I've watched all of them. Really motivational!
I`m self teaching myself web development. I have a job working overnight which I don't like it and neither my wife . I'm 28yrs. So development it`s the only way I can get a job with a good pay, benefits and it`s not hard labor.
Right now, I`m struggling with javascript. I guess I will go back to html and css and master those skills first. i`m only 3 months studying. But I can't wait to get a job, so maybe that's the reason I`m rushing to learn everything at once. Gonna take a step back and go back to the basics. Thanks for all the info!

In some ways, it makes sense to teach yourself an "easier" language and start with HTML, CSS, or Python because you can actually learn them faster. You could spend a year trying to learn C++, but it's going to be a lot harder to compete with people for a junior developer position because being proficient in those languages just takes more time.

This is the first video I came across with no dislikes...that has to be some kind of achievement.

That's how I am with JS. Each time I try to move on to something like php, NodeJs, etc. and I just get really frustrated with having to figure out the environment and installation stuff. I just end up going back to JS and trying to figure out new things through vanilla JS.
I'm glad to hear this, though, because I have been working on my CSS lately picking up Grid and learning to make my code more presentable and viewable on different sized screens.

Nice and helpful information. I learned CSS, HTML and just added basic Python. I am not, by any means, near the skill level I expect to be but am wondering if that's enough to get my foot in the door for any company? I am determined and focused and most importantly, I love learning. Any advice would be helpful, anyone reading this comment and would like to help, please feel free.
Thanks
