Would it be possible to have the lovely photos you take of outfits on screen for longer, it would really help “inspect “ the right way of creating a good look but still be able to hear your comments in the background. !!

Thank you for filming that video in such extreme and sudden heat. In the NW we are back to cool and showery weather now. You have shown some great ideas. I will come back to this one many times I feel for advice. I never used to have a tummy, but sadly since COVID and getting older, I have one - hate it!

I really enjoy seeing photos of your before and after outfits, Maria. They're so helpful in working out why such and such an item doesn't work, and what does

I returned to shorts this year after discovering a really flattering and comfortable pair from Friends like these (Next website). They are Bermuda length, have an elasticated waist and false pockets so look tailored but without the bulk. I ended up buying 3 in different colours! Really fantastic during the recent mini heatwave.

I was wondering if you have any videos on dressing your body proportions. I have a bit of a tummy, but when I put on a cardigan or kimono top I seem to feel like everything is going south. Yes I have been for multiple bra fittings but striving for comfort seems to mean ( to the clerks) that I want a sports bra, which just squashes them into a flat sausage.
I am sure if I could figure out where to get tops to stop would help immensely. A front tuck does not work as I have a herniated belly button, which really sticks out. I could get a Tshirt with an arrow pointing to it, saying “press here”😂😂. Fairly certain that would not fit into any of your styke guidelines😂😂😂
I envy you with Coomb Grove close to you. I would love-to do a program like that, but add on airfare from Canada and it is just too pricey. I will have to search for something closer to home. I am taking a lot if your suggestions and adding them into my routine so🤞🤞🤞

I wear red or pale pink underwear under white or pale colours. It works! You wouldn't think so, but it does 😂 I don't like those nude tones, personally

I’m 64 and I don’t want to conceal my tummy, hips, thighs or bottom, I’m slim. I want to show my shape, so I only wear tops that end around the waist, or tuck them in. I look completely shapeless and square if I don’t show my waist. So, I’m not a fan of the big shirt/top/cardigan/kimono over my outfits. I agree that a third piece is great-looking and outfit-completing, but I prefer a more structured and fitted layer, like an unlined, fitted-waist, linen blazer for cool mornings in the summer (Poetry makes a great unlined, softly structured, linen jersey blazer - my favorite, it’s as comfy as a cardigan, but has some shape). Plus, it’s just too hot where I live to wear a third piece after about 8 am, it rarely goes below about 85F here in California, we have five long months of very hot weather. As of this summer, I finally have an all-linen summer wardrobe that I can wear, after all, the heat is here for almost half the year., so I decided to invest in more linen items. (I know your British climate is quite different, though). I think when you attain your goal weight, Maria, you will no longer want to hide your figure with those big tops either. You look great as you are, anyway! Yes, our tummies do get a bit more rounded with maturity, even at a healthy weight, but so what? I refuse to be ashamed of looking older, why do people expect us women have the perfect figures of 18-year olds forever? Men don’t either, but they don’t feel ashamed of that or of looking older.

which is the blouse you are wearing on the video?

All tops are too long on me. I’m 5’4”, average for the American woman that I am, but clothes, especially British or Scandi designed ones (like H&M) are always much too long. I can only size down so much because of my average/full bust. I often do better with Asian-designed brands like Goelia, I have a tiny, narrow frame size.
