OMG! I'm form Brazil and I had this exactly problem, I have done a dashboard with slicers and after rename the file, I could not refresh the pivot tables anymore. I have watched so many youtube videos for 3 days hunting for a solution and this one was the only one that explained about the problem. Thank you so much!!!

my source file for pivot table is in another workbook and I am getting the same error... cannot open the source file... please help to resolve this problem

I try to change source data however says reference isn't valid can you please help

I keep having a slightly different problem when refreshing data - the error says “command requires at least two rows of source data..." I go to change data and my selected range is still there and it’s 200 rows, so I’m puzzled what to do :(

I had similar case, i try your method too but it still doesnt work. a few minute later i found it actually because i use "refresh all" when i have pivot that database didnt exist because i've already delete it. (I have 2 Pivot sheet 1 connected with new database and 1 Pivot connected with old database that i've been deleted and im using hide sheet). just FYI for someone who have similar case.
