The durability theory makes the most sense to me, especially if you're part of one of those RMT cabals. when real money gets involved in things people can be downright vicious, which is another really good reason to keep it out of the game.

edit: someone else mentioned selling t1 items on the BM, also makes sense to me but that is a whole lot of scrap hide buying. does the bm produce enough t1 item volume to justify this?

Have you checked that durability goes down faster when you craft vs when you don't craft?

I commonly buy a stacked of t1 materials/trash and go to a full loot zones flexing my overweight t3-t4 ox/horse to waste the time of those who will chase me lol.

Bm bulk transports? Value of T1 MP items which have like 30-50k each because people like to flex with T1 MP SET, burn capacity in plots owned by people who want do fair tax but cartel want to up silver scam tax, for example every wood/cloth refine event after restart all plots are out of capacity in 30min and event is over, albion could switch to next daily event because on one will use plot with 1200 tax when normal is 300 so +400% to get +4% return more is pointless and next 23.5h is wasted.

i agree with the durability theory, but i have another one -
some players might craft t1 gear and sell them for high prices at the starting towns, to scam new players who don't understand the game that well. (i haven't checked prices in starter towns so I'm not 100% sure, but i think they have to be higher)

Durability theory should not be right. You lose literally billions of silver when your competition only loses a little.

Can you Blackmarket it? I Blackmarket tier 3 stuff and use to make 27mil a day moving it. Tier 2 is profitable as well bigger margins, but small numbers, but the weight and time investment got to hi.

I don't recall ever seeing a tier 1 item drop.

Like broken weapons/armors, they have no use but can be sold in the market.
