Chicago police officer charged with falsely claiming she was robbed of $5,000

A Chicago police officer who is supposed to uphold the law was charged with breaking it. She was charged with felony disorderly conduct and false report of an offense after saying she was robbed when she was off duty, but prosecutors said that never happened.

What's to defend? She lied. She was a police officer, good she is no longer able to arrest people, you can't believe a word she says. All of her prior arrests should be reviewed. No telling how many were false. I used to be a correctional officer in Colorado for 11 years, when you're in law enforcement, you've got to be truthful in all aspects of your life. It's called professionalism.
