Thank God we have a choice. My mom was/is an emotional mess. I definitely went the other way 😅

I carried it on. Both of us had kids at 17, daddy issues, both of us just craved unconditional love. Then we both broke the cycle. She's now a counsellor, helping people through their difficulties after having addressed her own issues. And now I'm doing the same. I hated my mum for a long time - we did not get on. Too alike - but now we are so close, She's honestly my best friend. And my children are now the same age as when me & my mum had kids & I can tell you - my kids have DEFINITELY broke the ancestral trauma....they are nothing like us...and we are a very close family ❤❤

I believe most of us have chosen to be the chain breaker of the generational trauma and suffering so, not only to heal ourselves but also our blood lines beautifully! This is the CHOICE that the true light workers have been and still are doing ✨✨✨

I have chosen to be genuinely 😌 love.

I have had to leave her behind in her toxic world. I'm 65 l love myself & my life.

But lve never been able to please her ever. I'm an only child as my dearest brother past over when he was 28.

NOTHING I HAVE EVER DONE HAS BEEN GOOD ENOUGH so l have had to let her go - (GOING NO CONTACT IS NOT EASY) (AT LEAST NOW I CAN MOSTLY GET ON WITH MY LIFE )to retain my sanity and sense of self worth.
Through healthy boundaries lve mostly ceased her narcissistic behaviours towards me & l can now mostly not allow her to define me. BELIEVE ME SHES AN INTENSE PUNISHING PARENT FIERCELY AT 83 YRS OLD. I BELIEVE IVE FORGIVEN HER TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY (SAD YES BUT I RECOGNISE SHES RESPONSIBILE FOR her life. And lm responsible for mine.

Yup....explains a lot about my early years. My mother was terrified of pregnancy and delivery and totally traumatized by it. She's a highly anxious covert narcissist. It's taken me more than half of my life to really heal, and I'm still healing at 61 but it's made me who I am and I love myself. ❤️ 🙏

My mom had morning sickness so bad she lost 50 pounds while pregnant with me. I didn’t know growing up that she had be forced to give up her new born baby 18 months before I was born. I was born with many birth anomalies that looking back she may have felt were her fault. Thank you KerryK for the giving me another perspective of my mother and me emotionally. She and my step dad did everything think they could to help me recover from my physical conditions and raised me to think I could do anything I wanted. But I subconsciously carried her sadness until my 30’s when I got help from a movement therapist.

The soul doesn't always come into the body while it's still in the mother. Dolores Cannon talked about this in a couple of her books. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. It just depends on the soul's mission to experience. Love you.

As I get older, I see her in me more and more. Even having the same health struggles and conditions. I am doing all I can to to heal myself and break the patterns of my family. I love them, and forgive them for all that, now it's time for me.
