🌏🇯🇵Here is where we ate and the areas we visited. We stayed at Mitsui Hotel. It’s a chain and pretty good! We wanted a gym so booked there.

📲DAY ONE:
•Visited Shimokitazawa - shops, vintage stores
•Bar - KGS & JBS (so good)

📲DAY TWO:
Pack Disneyland food (nothing is vegan)

📲DAY THREE:
•Chicago vintage store in Harajuku
•Ahiru wine bar - worth the line up for hommus and great wine bar if that’s your thing
•Patty - another cute wine bar
•Dinner is a must - GENKI! @yasai_izakaya_genki
•Tantra Tokyo Show

To check if a product is vegan you can also consider using Google lens to translate the ingredients ! Not always perfect as some ingredients will be left out due to Japanese labelling laws if they are present only in small quantities

Just found your channel. I’m going to Japan in November, so buzzed to try all the places you’ve mentioned. I didn’t realise there were so many vegan places! 🫶🏻

Awesome video! Planning my own vegan trip and this was really helpful. Wish you gave a brief summary of eating vegan in Tokyo at the end though.

Currently in Amsterdam airport watching this and am missing Japan so much already. So much good food! Can’t wait to see what you ate in Mt Fuji and Osaka 😍

Those initial noodles almost definitely were not vegan unfortunately. Even the various tofu "sticks" at 7-11 are all not vegan. They have egg or fish products of some sort. Sucks. To know what is in everything, using Google Lens is a must and a lifesaver!

The good news is numerous great vegan places in Tokyo now and even more places with vegan options.

1:22 it might say tomato chillie but the noodle itself is made of pork most times,

Dont eat any noodle if its not labelled as vegan openly

May I ask what point of the chili tomato noodle package looked vegan? I always wonder what point of Japanese food packages make vegan people buy non-veg food... I'm Japanese, and it doesn't look like vegan to me.. I am not accusing you for eating them. I just want to know why... Are Japanese food labeling and packagings are misleading?

Those noodles aren’t even vegetarian! Why should I watch your vegan guide to Tokyo video when the first meal you have contains meat? 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Hopefully you don’t influence any future vegan travelers to buy those noodles 😬

そのカップヌードルのチリトマト味は絶対ビーガンじゃ無い
日本のスープは肉や魚で作っているので注意が必要

That chili tomato noodle is not vegan…
Japanese soups often contain meat or fish, so be careful.
Not only ramen, but also miso soup and soba soup. Because it contains dried bonito dried bonito or dried sardines.
