My oldest sister is like these people. She can't seem to go anywhere without getting into a confrontational scene with someone. She also treats wait staff like crap and always has to find an issue with something. I can go to the exact same places and deal with the exact same people, and I never have a single problem. People need to stop being such miserable, hateful trolls. (or at least get some mental help).

For some context on the Hertz situation: in 2022, Hertz was ordered to pay over $168M in damages to people who were accused, arrested, and even jailed for driving "stolen" cars. People sometimes would fail to bring the car back on time, extend the time, or drop off at another location without Hertz doing due diligence to find the cars or simply make note of the extension. Hertz simply tried to write them off as stolen and on occasion such as the one we saw here, found the car and had the person in possession arrested. The Guardian has some horrifically detailed experiences of people whose lives were literally ruined because of Hertz's actions. So the "manager" here was probably doing what he thought was right because the company he worked for was messed up. The guy who filmed was one of the lucky ones who didn't have police swarm him and arrest him on the spot, hauling him to jail for weeks on end like some people.

The woman who was arrested for yelling at the old lady for animal abuse…. Fun fact: I went to jail for TWO YEARS for stealing abused dogs from a puppy mill 10 years ago. I contacted the police and animal control 20+ times and they wouldn’t help save these puppies so I took matters into my own hands. It’s sad sometimes when law doesn’t take animal abuse seriously.
