Thank you for getting me started with this. The first time I did this I followed these instructions exactly and found the rock idea sort of a pain so I modified it slightly. I now take the sponge and cut it in half lengthwise. I then put a half on each side of the roots and place them in the plastic holders with the bottom of the holder cut out. I place a sticker over the plant. This holds the plant better and creates much less of an issue.

Thanks for your Aerogarden videos. Very helpful, more helpful than every other video I've watched. Please keep them coming if you can. I'm 74 and have moved indoors to 4 aerogardends for miniature tomatoes, lettuces, other greens, and herbs and I'd love to see more info for success for spinach, pak choi, and miscellaneous baby leaf greens. Thanks again!

Thanks for the video. Can you explain why you put the rocks in the aerogarden cage only to let them fall out? Is it more important to have the rocks on top?

How long do the -plants produce before you have to start over with new plants. How long do you keep, the light on?

Could you possibly explain how you situated the pump? I have an aerogarden harvest 360 and am trying this method but am using the standard aerogarden pump. Is your pump in the reservoir? How does it supply water to the roots if not through the aerogardens channels?

What programming do you choose for the light schedule? There are no defaults for Strawberries and I think the one I used last time messed up my first batch?

I’ve already grown one round, and now I’d like to understand what to do with them now. Let them go and do what they want? Cut them down and let them come up again? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I reused some aerogarden sponges, split them open & put the strawberry plants roots in that leaving the crowns above the sponge. Then I put rocks under & around the crown to keep it above the water level. Should I not do it this way? I had wild strawberry plant crowns I ordered from Etsy & they were doing good but then I was told I may have gotten mock strawberry plants. I'm switching the plants out cause this is alot of work & time to put in just to find out I'm not growing true strawberries. Also I'm using my 3 pod aerogarden for this experiment & it does not add water at the top
