If you're talking about nationality then yeah you're right, but tbh biologically no one belongs to a region. Humans as a whole emigrated from Africa, and our ancestors before that, who were probably before Apes came from somewhere else, and prior to arriving on land our ancestors were living in oceanic bodies. So, with respect to reality our existence isn't defined by where we live.
