I am so excited to show you all my cash envelope system! You'll get a look inside my cash envelope wallet, my bullet journal budgeting spread, how I organize and stuff my sinking funds, and where I got all my envelopes!

When we bought our house in December, we were victims of a scam, where we lost almost $30,000 while paying for our down payment of our new home. Because of this happening, we are now stuck with a loan with a very high interest rate, and my goal is to pay it off by the end of this year. I did a lot of research, and found the Cash Envelope System, learned about Sinking Funds, and a Zero Based Budget. These are all methods I'll be using in order to pay off our debt.

I love using my cash app card as a way to be safer and not have my debit card swiped everywhere. They also have boosts which are automatic. So if they say 10% off groceries, the 10% comes off automatically. I’m from NYC and I know ALOT of people who got their money stolen out of their bank account by using their debit cards at places like the grocery store.

How do you hold yourself accountable to just using the money in your envelopes and not reaching for your debit card! This is something I need to work on as I tell myself "I'll make it up tomorrow."

My fiancé and I are starting today! We Unfortunately don’t qualify for a first time home buyer for a down payment because my fiancé makes too much. We are going to try and save 18, 000 in the next 6 to 8 months! Wish us luck
