I don't hate VR but it being basically mandatory on any Sentinel does hurt the class overall imo. That being said, heavily nerfing it means they would need to give Sentinel a lot of compensation elsewhere so it's not necessarily a quick fix.

OMG thank you! I just started playing and everyone recommended this skill but I had no idea why. This helped a ton! I was using it thinking, really? This is lame. Now it makes sense!

love how many videos spoke of build diversity with the pallie so i rolled it, and now im switching my build up at 79 and finding this out is a real killer of joy for me and now i dont know what to do and whether to reroll, fantastic

I mainly hate it for this reason alone, its so strong and its the only choice for decent global buffs. with out it, it feel awful to build sentinel as you loose so much to the point you feel stupid for not taking it. the idea of the skill is cool going back in time, but along side giving so much power that it becomes a instant pick and you play around it or else it just sad and shit desgin to me, ide rather be given the choice to invenst my power elsewhere but doing so would not yield the reasults i would get from VR because of its strength.

I do absolutely hate VR, but that’s mostly because one of the very first builds I ever played used vr to gain mana back, and since I was using it all the time, even in mob fights, I kept getting sent two seconds back in time and it was super annoying, so I’ve literally flat out ignored it in every build I’ve made or build guide I’ve followed since. I didn’t realize that you could stack those buffs though. I’ll probably start using it again

I main Sentinel and I go out of my way in builds to not use it. Doubt this will change on my VK or any other build. Great analysis on the skill though and I do hope they give other talents and Sentinel passives some love.

I like the skill. It feels good to use it as a dodge and the buffs are really nice, didn't realize you could stack it like that, but makes sense. Will definitely be spamming it in boss fights even more than I already do.

So am I dumb or something, or did they fix this interaction? I see barely an increase in damage even while overlapping the buff on bosses, spamming it on cooldown. Am I supposed to move around or something else?

Counterpoint: in Last Epoch you can’t farm bosses without having to spend most of your time running from point A to point B (in addition damage on bosses has DR), thus a skill that is mostly useless most of the time can’t be the best skill in the game.

People say forge guard is a weak weapons, buffed with void cleave and then few volatile reversals delete hard.

Is it possible for the planner to have it so it shows you how to put the points into the passive tree & skills to help us do it so we get the max potential out of this build. I notice on the last epoch tools page some of the builds show this others like yours does not.

Just move it to Void Knight so not EVERY Sentinel can abuse it.

How does it even work when travel time is higher than cooldown and you hold down the button?

They should probably just push it further down the passive tree in void knight so you at least have to have it as your mastery to use it.

I really want the banner (javelin battle standard) to be a complete thing. That it doesn't interact with ALL but the subsequent nodes on the tree is very sad, and for a melee you literally don't have enough nodes that you can put your passive points in that make sense.
