Love how Hamish's dad said to Alice you don't have to marry my son if you don't want to. at least he knew she didn't like him and his mom was to much of a self fish stuck person to notice. I would not want to marry Hamish as well.

I agree Hamish is not the right man for her, and given the way he talked to her when they were dancing, how he made fun of herfor agreeing to give away the ship in the sequel, and that he didnt go after her when she was sailing away, tells me that Hamish never even loved ger to begin with.

The oy thing I didn't like is the fact that Alice doesn't immediately out her brother-in-law for activately cheating on her sister. I get she wants her sister to be happy and she loves her, but she'd save her sister from so much more lying and hurt if she had just revealed that her husband was just sleeping around with anyone, even with people they associated with. Because her just telling him "I'll be keeping an eye on you" will just make him sneakier. That and he even tried to carass Alice's face, as to sweet talk his way out of trouble too. H#ll to the no. She should have shamed him there like she did Hamish.
