The mad hatter is so different in the second film, I don’t know if Depp forgot how he did the role the first time around or if it’s because he became much more happier/childish as the red queen wasn’t ruling underland anymore. I kinda miss the dark more wispy tones of hatter in the first film but I was wondering what people think. Any thoughts?

I saw this film many years ago when it was promoted in my local cinema, now I still watch it and I still cry. The love he feels for her is real and I would have loved to see the scene when they kissed each other. It was even filmed but Burton decided not to put it. There can't be a more sensitive man than the Hatter. He will always be in my dreams.
