Great video! I discovered more contentment in my own life when I stopped getting on Facebook and Instagram so much. It's been said that, "we are seeing someone else's "highlight reel" on social media and not the mundane moments in other's lives." I truly believe that comparison is the killer of gratitude and thankfulness for what we do have! Thanks for addressing a topic that if applied can be a true blessing to ourselves and others!❤

Well said. I'm not on every platform either. I just have YouTube and just got off of Twitter recently. Much calmer life.

Great advice Shannon. This topic really spoke to me. I so far have turned off all notifications so as not to be tempted to check each time. It is all addicting. I try to use sheer willpower to lessen my time on FB, Instagram and Youtube. They are the only 3 I use; but its still way too much. I have decluttered my friends list, who I follow, and even a lot of youtubes that are not inspiring or bring value. During this time, I find all the horrible posts on FB to be very stressful.

I recently went back to a flip phone. I can only text and talk. It's amazing! If I "need" to use the internet I try to time my time on the laptop : )
