Have to agree with a few others on this method: it fails whenever I try to reduce the gas fees significantly, and then it "steals" the gas fee from my wallet for the failed transaction. You should have gone into MUCH more detail regarding the way you chose a SUCCESSFUL gas fee. I am tired of being nickled and dimed out of ETH gas fees, so will look for another way to accomplish this. Good idea, but doesn't execute well for me...

I did this a couple of weeks ago and my transaction said pending for four days and then it failed. I’m sure it has work sometimes but this is a good way to get your coins locked up for a few days if it even goes through

WHY IS EVERYONE STILL USING ITS SO 2020!!!. We as the consumers need to wake up, and move our assets from ETH to another network. People are crazy to pay this much fee. We are all better of without ETH. Just because the early project had ETH as an option and prioritise the ETH programming blockchain over USER Experience and adoption in future. as great as this seems its all a slave to the network condition. for instance, doing it right now it wont even allow me to go below 166041 Gas limit, a max priority fee of 1.41, and a max gwei of fee of like 225. So the fee is still over $141. someone must have fixed this hole to continue fucking us.

Simply sending is not the expensive part.. even today at 4300/eth a 100Gwei eth regular send will cost you 8-9$. But interacting with a contract that's a different ball game, and in most case you can't let it wait for hours days months since it'll likely fail and you still pay gas for that..

if you do this will give you an error, transition never complete will give you a error.... and the error says run out of gas and you lose the money, that happen to me several times!!!
